If you have ever driven across Nebraska on I-80 you may have thought it was a VERY long state. But when there are big clouds and distant views it can give a great impression of the vastness of the Great Plains. When I saw this panorama in the middle of the state, I had to pull off and shoot it for a painting. Though this study is small, I will likely paint it much larger to capture that feeling of space.
